Specific for the protection of iron artifacts such as railings, gates, tightening devices, pylons, silos, etc. If applied on iron or non-oxidized alloys, a shiny iron effect is obtained. If applied on oxidized iron or alloys, blocks the corrosive process of rust by giving an antique iron effect. As anti-rust or base coat: after applying Fidoil, neutralized rust becomes a base coat that can be left as it is or can be painted over with synthetic or oleosynthetic enamels. As a paint additive: added to synthetic or oleosynthetic paints, it increases resistance to external agents leaving a uniformed and shiny paint. It is also an excellent additive for ferromagnetic paints. It complies with the VOC limit of which DIR.2004/42/CE et f.m.i. as high performance monocomponent paints.
